There will be an open hive this Sunday at 12:30 Pm, 6/28, at Finson Farm, 41 Finson Rd, South Berwick. The teaching apiary now has four colonies — three full‑size hives and a brand‑new split created during the June 10 inspection. This is another great opportunity to see how the Finson Farm colonies are progressing, observe different management approaches, and ask questions about these hives or anything you’re seeing in your own colonies. For new beekeepers, this is a really great way to get more experience with different colonies and ask lots of questions of experienced beekeepers. Bring your protective gear, water, and if you would like a snack to share. We hope to see you on Sunday!
