- Observations
- Slow progress. Brood: no capped brood observed, but 6 frames of larva of all ages full end to end. A few brown slumped larva observed. Still a smaller population of bees, nectar and pollen noted (they haven’t touch the sugar syrup so we took it off). After examining our other NUC which was doing very well, we took 2 frames of capped brood with nurse bees to boost this colony. They will need bees to feed the developing brood. No mite wash done.
